The Overdose Notes

We have recently completed production of our second social film drama, commissioned by the Home Office.

The Overdose Notes tells the story of Chris Mills, a drug and alcohol addict with a history of convictions for anti-social behaviour. Following repeated breaches of the conditions of his ASBO, Chris is given a custodial sentence. Within 24 hours of his eventual release, however, Chris is found dead as the result of a fatal drugs overdose.

Responding to the tragedy, the Local Criminal Justice Board launches an investigation into the circumstances leading to his death. Could his crimes have been punished differently? Was he given the correct support for his addictions? Could his untimely death have been prevented?

Contact us to arrange a screening of this powerful social film drama.
